We do not simply own this land. We are the first Seed Guardians of these 18 hectares in Nilo.
Together we are building a refuge where regenerative science and human wellbeing meet, to heal the soil and the spirit alike.

Frequently asked questions
The questions we get asked most, answered plainly: what we are, where we are in the process, and how you can be part of a project still being built with intention, respect and care.
What is Naturconexión?
A working model of regenerative living in Nilo, Cundinamarca. Unlike conventional farming, we work with syntropic permaculture and soil conservation. The aim is not only to produce: it is to heal the land and create a place where the community and visitors can reconnect with nature, consciously and for the long term.
What does caring for the soil actually mean?
No chemicals. We use syntropic farming and systems that copy how a forest works, so instead of exhausting the land we make it more fertile each season.
What does it mean to be a Seed Guardian?
It means joining our extended family. Seed Guardians support the project through donations to our foundation, or by giving their knowledge and time to help us grow and make a real difference in Colombia and beyond.
Can I visit or volunteer?
We are still preparing the ground. For now we are in the building phase; from 2026 we will open the farm for stays, workshops and volunteering.
How do you support the people of Nilo?
We hire locally, and in 2026 we will launch education programmes with the school in Nilo. We want the children and neighbours to be the first to learn from this way of living, and the first to benefit from it.
